The Sieman PolaroG Polarographic DO Sensor adopts advanced Clark electrode technology, specifically engineered for biological fermentation, environmental monitoring, pharmaceutica and chemical industries. It delivers precise dissolved oxygen measurements through electrochemical principles, making it ideal for high-precision and high-stability industrial applications.

 

Sieman’s independently developed new polarographic dissolved oxygen sensor communicates via traditional electrochemical analog signals. When paired with Sieman’s DO smart transmitter, it outputs 4-20mA and RS485 (Modbus) signals. In dissolved oxygen measurement performance, it can accurately, promptly, and effectively detect dissolved oxygen levels in solutions or gases. The polarographic oxygen sensor membrane withstands repeated 121°C moist heat sterilization for 30 minutes while maintaining measurement accuracy, supports CIP and SIP, meets food and drug safety production process analysis requirements, and provides reliable real-time data for process control systems.

Electrons flow from cathode to anode, producing a diffusion current; at a given temperature, the diffusion current is proportional to the dissolved oxygen concentration; establish a quantitative relationship between the current and the dissolved oxygen concentration; the instrument automatically converts the galvanometer reading into the dissolved oxygen concentration and displays the dissolved oxygen value on the screen.
